it is one of the places you have to visit in your lifetime according to lonely planet and BBC. it is also in some kind of top ten list. also they have been awarded many awards for travel destination. there are just so many things that one should visit Nepal. it is affordable, 8 highest mountain out fo ten in the world......one horn rhino...more than 850 species of birds..paradise for bird watchers. dont forget adventure tourism...kayaking...rafting..rock climbing...bunjee jumping.....man i could go on and on and on...............

you will get a lot of info at Nepal Tourism Board's website:

www.welcomenepal.com

also make sure to visit their corporate site for stats and other info...hope that helps.......good luck and "Naturally Nepal..........once is not enough"

- If America has been a melting pot of last 400 years, Nepal has been since the time of Buddha and absorbed many races and people over the course of time amalgated into culture of Kathmandu valley.

- birthplace of Pagoda and Buddha offcourse

-To see  religious harmony, many temples worshipped by both buddhist and hindus

-Gurkha warriors

- One can see and achieve so much by visiting small country like Nepal

more species of birds than whole Europian continent

in 80 miles hike one can reach from tropical to alpine climate
