hi SAJHA COMMUNITIES

right now i am in Nepal. My visa will expire in 8 months. I want to renew my visa while i am here. Is it worth trying ? Is it the good idea to renew visa or just extend your F1 status within US. there are also things like going to mexico after visa expires. Help me out please

since your visa is valid for another 8 months, i don't think it is necessary to renew it. you can just show the current I-20 and the visa at the port of entry and get in. Once you're in the US, as long as you maintain your F1 status there is no need of renewing it. Hope this helps.
