The Academy of Nepali Poets and Writers in Washington, DC, cordially invites all Nepalis and friends of Nepal to celebrate the "Rimal Kabitha Goshti" on the auspicious occasion of 84th Gopal Prasad Rimal Jayanti. The Academy would like to encourage all friends, including young adults to come and recite their poems (short stories, essays and other forms of creative writings are welcome as well). Gopal Prasad Rimal is considered to be one of Nepal's revolutionary poets and writers in contemporary Nepali literature. Rimal is credited to have introduced "prose-poem" in Nepali literature.
